BRAKING NEWS: PM Orders Deployment of Skynets on Vietnamese Border

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered the deployment of Skynet anti-drone systems along the Vietnamese border in Ratanakkiri, Mondulkiri and Stung Treng provinces to shoot down drones that violate Cambodian territory. Skynet anti-drone systems disable drones by interfering with their GPS and control signals.

Speaking at a meeting with nearly 20,000 workers in Phnom Penh's Por Senchey district on June 28, the PM was frustrated with the commander of Military Zone 1, Gen. Huot Chheang, for not bringing down a drone that violated Cambodian airspace last night.

He ordered the Commander-in-Chief of the Army to deploy all the equipment needed to disable reconnaissance drones along the Cambodian-Vietnamese border.

He said, "I will ask Chheang in person: Why didn’t you order the shooting?” He then offered $200,000 to any military unit that brings down a reconnaissance drone along the border.

The Prime Minister believes that drones spotted along the Vietnamese border belong to the Vietnamese separatist group which attacked municipal employees on June 11. Since then, he has continued to call on a thorough search of Cambodian territory along the Vietnam border to find any suspected separatists.
